‘She is a guardian. She can be helpful and kindly but only to those of a good heart. She only punishes those who disobey or outrage her. She is wisdom. We may forget things but she is memory.’
Sure, you may love William Fitchner, but we bet we love him more. Betchya. We’d give him our last Rolo. We’d buy Rolos to give him our last Rolo. We love him romantically. Beat that, mere fans!
Let Meta-Mania commence. Poster number 1: Being John Malkovich 2:Being Christian Slater. It didn’t even end up in the film; how’s THAT for Meta-Mania!?
What We’re Watching
The Dead (2010)- a flawed, strange and feral film. Richard Stanley-esque. Grindhouse without trying to be. The Great Gatsby - well at least the books good, but you knew that anyway The Big Chill - dated but still poignant City of Life & Death - a little one note at times, but powerful and beautifully shot The Look of Love - we love Winterbottom, but there's not much story here
